Tunisia Tourism Top from 16 through 19 April 2019

It is the aim of the Head Office and the Tunisian National Tourist Office in The Hague to achieve a further acceleration in the substantial growth of tourism last year.

During the program, it is our aim to discuss the opportunities to further develop tourism from The Netherlands to Tunisia. We will also take a closer look into sustainability and group travelling.

The program will most certainly include meetings with the new H.E. Minister of Tourism Mr RenéTrabelsi  and the new ONTT Director General Mme Amel Hachani and will be hosted & moderated by Mr Frank Oostdam, director of ANVR.

Tunisian companies taking part on the IPD tourism market access program will get the opportunity to do speed networking with the Dutch tour operators.

Finding sustainable suppliers in destinations remains a challenge but there is movement in the right direction. If you are coming to ITB Berlin and would like to connect with sustainable suppliers from Africa then I have some great recommendations for you.

Did you know that Fair Trade Tourism (FTT) certification is now active in African destinations like Zambia and (soon) Uganda? Several of the South African FTT companies will be coming to ITB:

• Three Tree Hill Lodge in Kwa Zulu Natal and its wonderful Africa Safari Collective lodge partners can be found on the South Africa Tourism stand in Hall 20 - stand 201.
